I just finished a new quilt pattern over here. This one is called, “Arrows and Tags” because the instructions include two quilts: one with arrows on the end, and one with two points that look like the edge of a cute little tag. It’s a great beginners quilt pattern, or a quick project if you’re an experienced sewer (it came together so quickly!)
I’ve loved playing with solids, and I’m almost ready to release my first eBook, which will include a lot of the individual patterns I’ve been releasing lately.
I’ll spend quite a bit of time organizing and reorganizing cut fabric (like the colored strips in this picture). My husband said its one of the things he loves about me (and our bookshelf often has little piles of neatly folded or cut fabric on it). So glad he’s chosen to just love that instead of be annoyed by it.
Speaking of my husband, we had a getaway last weekend. It was so much fun. If you’re in Utah Valley, this is a picture of the hike from Big Springs Park (it’s the one above South Fork). I love this little hike.
We also hiked to Secret Lake above Alta Ski Resort. We went on an afternoon when it wasn’t very busy. I just sat by the water and listened to it lapping at the sand…so. so. restful. Man, can I just do that all over again?
Oh, yeah, and you can buy the new pattern
