I recently made another version of my Fishing Line pattern. This one is so simple, but is one of my favorites. It’s always great to have a good boy quilt pattern up your sleeve.
For the quilting on this one, I did one of the decorative stitches on my machine. I’ve tried doing free motion quilting on my home machine, and I’m never very satisfied with it. I saw quilting like this on one of Emily Denis’ quilts and loved the idea. It did take forever, but the result was so great that I’m doing it on another quilt right now (more on that one later).
I backed it with my favorite ultra fluffy backing and didn’t use a batting. I LOVE how the classic, bold colors came together in this quilt. This is one we’ll be keeping! You can check out the pdf pattern in my Etsy shop:
