I had so much fun reading everyone’s comments on the recent giveaway. It’s great to get to know some of you. The winner of the fabric has been contacted and it’s on it’s way – congrats Gloria! And if you didn’t win, keep checking back, I love giving away one of my patterns with fabric to make it.
Today I’m releasing a new pattern: Ombre Arrows Quilt! I’ve had this one sketched out for a while, but just finished it. The quilt measures 65″ x 78″. It’s easy to make, and uses only half square triangles and strips in between the rows of ombre arrows. (ps, if you’re not familiar with the word ombre, it means “colors or tones that shade into eachother.” I didn’t know until recently)
This pattern is one of a set I’ve been working on, highlighting solids in quilting. I’ll be publishing the eBook soon…hopefully before Christmas. So if you want 5 patterns for the price of 2…just wait a couple more months to get it.
Last, my oldest goes to her first day of kindergarten next week. I thought we weren’t ready, but I think that the summer has helped me realize that its going to be a good step for both of us, so many mixed emotions. Ok…you can gain independence and attitude and all of that great stuff that comes with growing up.
