A couple years ago, I made a special quilt for a neighbor who was in a wheelchair. She had a hard time getting her arms through a jacket. Her parents designed a template for me with the exact shape and size of the quilt that would be perfect for her and not get caught in her wheels. That was the first wheelchair quilt I’d made.
Ever since then, I’ve wanted to share some information on how we made it, in case anyone wants to make their own. So here it is! You can download this free eBook or watch a few video tutorials I made.
Thanks to my friends who donated the money to make this quilt! It’s going to be given to a student at the Dan Petersen School. It’s been really fun to be part of this project.
